Special Projects: Casen Sullivan for Camelbak

 Casen Sullivan For Camelbak

I worked with Camelbak to figure out how to sustainably use some of the left over backpack samples. I was tasked with making a pair of shoes out of Camelbak packs to be displayed at the Camelbak headquarters.

I started off dissecting the bags with an x-acto knife and fitting pieces on the upper of the shoes with pins. While stretching the materials I sewed the outer edges onto the canvas upper.

With this project I wanted to experiment with materials but at the same time keep the general integrity of the Packs so I added buckles and backpack straps to make the shoe easily identifiable as a backpack.
